I am an independent specialist advocate with over 10 years experience in health and social care, having worked in the sector for over a decade. Throughout my career, I
have held management roles in care and nursing homes, worked within the NHS and ambulance service, and have been responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance. I have a deep understanding of workers’ rights, employment policies, and trade unions, allowing me to effectively support individuals facing workplace disputes, disciplinary matters, and grievances. I hold an Enhanced DBS and have achieved Level 4 qualification in Safeguarding management in Health and Social Care, Medication management , Mental Health Studies, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS). I have extensive knowledge of CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act, and best practices for healthcare professionals among other CPD accredited course
In my career, I have been responsible for enforcing policy and procedures, overseeing health and safety compliance, and ensuring fair and ethical treatment in the workplace. My experience in management and frontline care has given me the ability to advocate effectively, challenge poor practices, and support individuals in navigating complex health and social care systems. As an independent advocate, my mission is to ensure that every individual’s rights are protected, their voice is heard, and they receive the dignity, respect, and care they deserve—whether in a care setting ,Home setting ,Hospital or the workplace.
