We’re delighted to introduce Kutub, who has joined Care First 24 as our new Compliance Officer.

Kutub joins us with over nine years of experience in compliance and recruitment, having previously worked as a Compliance Officer, Recruitment Team Leader, and most recently as a Clearance & Maintenance Manager. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed compliance teams and candidate clearance processes across multiple brands, developing a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and operational excellence.

His positive attitude, exceptional organisational skills, reliability and commitment to maintaining the highest standards make him a fantastic addition to our team.

When he’s not at work, Kutub enjoys gaming, reading, exploring different parts of England, and anything Halloween-themed! 🎃🦇

✨ We are always happy to “Celebrate The Good” and to end the week on a positive note! For we wanted to share these lovely comments received during a quality call by Roda, Clinical Admin, regarding Becky and her team of carers.

“Service is excellent and are very pleased with it. Good relationship with Becky. No shift issues, and any issues that would arise are always resolved. The people are excellent and any issues that may arise Becky always resolves in a timely manner and she keeps us updated constantly. Abbas, Aliya, Nawala and Josephine are outstanding, and their hard work should be recognised. The others are great too.”

Our Training and Development Director, Jayne Easterbrook, alongside Marisa Spice, Head of Learning and Development at Nellsar, share the inspiration behind the creation of the Social Care Nursing Preceptorship in an article published by Care Management Matters Magazine.

Designed to support newly registered nurses and nursing associates, the preceptorship programme helps individuals build confidence, strengthen critical thinking and decision-making skills, and feel more supported as they settle into their roles and workplace teams across the health and social care sector.

We are delighted that Lynn has been acknowledged for her outstanding contribution to social care over many years, and we look forward to celebrating the amazing talent and wonderful work that has been going on in care over the year. 🎉

Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating Steph’s retirement together, sharing memories, laughter, and a few emotional moments as we wished her farewell. 💙

After being such an important part of the Care First 24 family since the beginning, Steph leaves behind an incredible legacy of care and dedication, and also so many lovely memories with the team she supported every day.

💚 Over 944,0000 people in the UK are affected by dementia, and if someone you love is living with dementia, you’re living with it too.

May 18th to 24th is ~ DementiaAwarenessWeek – a week-long event organised by the Alzheimer’s Society, aiming to raise awareness about dementia, the UK’s biggest killer, and to encourage individuals and communities to take action in support of those affected by the condition.

Every family facing dementia should have the support of a specialist care team. If you are in need of support for you or a loved one, please get in touch, and we can put together a dedicated care plan in your home surroundings, to help maintain independence and a better quality of life.

Today is a bittersweet day as we celebrate the retirement of our wonderful Clinical Lead, Steph. 💙

Since joining Care First 24 at its very beginning in 2023, Steph has been an incredible source of support, kindness, and dedication to both the people she cared for and the colleagues who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

As she begins an exciting new chapter in Norfolk, we wish her every happiness, plenty of peace and quiet, and of course a little adventure along the way.

Thank you, Steph, for everything you have given to the Care First 24 family - you will be greatly missed by us all. 💐

The Stroke Association offers valuable support and guidance to the person, child, and the families whose loved one has had a stroke. Their stroke helpline offers specialist support services, weekly volunteer calls, support groups, and online activities.

Donations will help rebuild the lives of stroke survivors. Specialist support services, pioneering research, and campaigning are only possible with the generosity of supporters.
