A lifetime of love can live in the smallest moments. 🤍

A tiny kick, a familiar song, a photograph, a name spoken softly, or a memory that stays with you forever.

When you lose your baby, those moments become precious beyond words. Sometimes they bring comfort, and sometimes they hurt more than anything. Both are part of loving and grieving.

If today feels heavy, take it one breath at a time. You don’t have to carry everything at once.

Your baby mattered.
Your love matters.
And every little memory is worth holding onto, whenever you’re ready. 🤍

From an idea born out of love, to something we hope brings comfort to families 🤍

The idea: Create a baby urn that feels beautiful, simple and fitting for the little ones gone too soon.

The process: Carefully crafting each urn, personalising it with your baby’s name and creating something that feels truly theirs.

The result: A keepsake made with love, to honour a precious baby and give their ashes a beautiful place to rest.

Every urn we create means so much to us. Behind every name is a baby who matters, a family who loves them, and a story that deserves to be remembered.

Made with love by parents who understand 🤍

Things I never wanted to learn, but now carry with me every day đź’”

Before losing Otis, I thought I understood grief.

I knew it meant sadness. I knew it meant missing someone.

But I didn’t understand how complicated it could be. How grief can change from one day to the next. How you can feel acceptance one moment and be pulled straight back into anger, disbelief or unbearable sadness the next.

I didn’t know grief could be physical.

That the drawing in of dusk could make my chest feel heavy. That your body can sense the panic before your mind has even caught up. That sometimes the thought of simply getting through another night can feel overwhelming.

I didn’t know that photos could bring comfort one day and be too painful to look at the next.

Or that you can laugh, feel joy and live your life while still carrying an ache that never truly leaves.

There are so many things grief has taught me that I never wanted to learn.

But perhaps the biggest lesson is this:

There is no right way to grieve.

It isn’t linear. It isn’t predictable. It isn’t something you simply “move on” from.

Some days you survive. Some days you feel like you’re healing. And some days, you find yourself right back in the middle of the pain.

And all of it is okay.

If you’re grieving your baby too, I hope this reminds you that you are not broken for feeling the way you do.

You are grieving because you loved someone with your whole heart. 🤍

What has grief taught you?

A little glimpse into the heart behind Pure Keepsakes 🤍

This image was created by ChatGPT based on the conversations we’ve had about Pure Keepsakes, our journey, our little boy Otis, and why we do what we do.

It’s actually quite emotional seeing so many pieces of our story brought together in one image.

Behind every urn we create is a family, a baby who was deeply loved, and a story that deserves to be remembered.

Pure Keepsakes was born from our own experience of baby loss, but it has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. We’re here to help families create a beautiful, dignified resting place for their babies, while also raising awareness and reminding bereaved parents that they are not alone.

Every name matters.
Every baby matters.
Every story matters.

And at the heart of it all will always be Otis. 🤍

Made to Honour. Made to Remember. 🕊️

🤍 You’re Not Alone: Charities That Support Families After the Loss of a Baby

When you lose your baby, it can feel as though the whole world keeps moving while yours has suddenly stopped.

You may find yourself facing days filled with grief, questions, loneliness and emotions you never knew you would have to carry. And sometimes, you simply don’t know where to turn. 🤍

We created this blog because we want bereaved families to know that you are not alone.

There are incredible charities and organisations dedicated to supporting parents after the loss of a baby — people who understand that your baby mattered, that your grief matters, and that there is no timeline for learning to live with such an enormous loss.

Our blog brings together some of the organisations that can offer support, guidance, counselling, resources and, sometimes, simply a safe place to say “I’m struggling” to someone who understands.

If you are a bereaved parent, please know that you don’t have to carry this alone. And if you’re supporting someone who has lost their baby, we hope this gives you somewhere to gently point them towards when you don’t know what to say. 🤍

You are still a parent.
Your baby is still loved.
And you deserve support too.

Stillbirth Remembrance Day 🤍

Otis was stillborn.

When he was born, I begged him to open his eyes.

I begged him to breathe.
I begged him to cry.
I begged for just one sign that this wasn’t really happening.

But it was.

And something people don’t always understand about stillbirth is that you still have to give birth.

You still have to labour.
You still have contractions.
You still have to push your baby into the world.

Except there is no cry at the end.

There is no first breath.
No placing your baby on your chest and watching them take their first look at the world.

Instead, you give birth knowing that the baby you have carried, loved and dreamed about will not come home with you.

Stillbirth is not rare enough.

It happens far too often. Babies who were wanted. Babies who were loved. Babies whose parents had already imagined their whole lives.

Otis was one of those babies.

He deserved to be here.
He deserved a lifetime.
And we deserved to watch him grow.

Today, we remember Otis and every baby who was born sleeping.

Your babies matter. Their lives matter. Their names matter. And they will never be forgotten. 🤍
