My beautiful Georgette chose to have her massage in the garden on Friday !

It felt so natural and peaceful to be outside- butterflies flying over her and the birds singing, warm breeze over us both ❤️

Just gorgeous, she said she felt like she was on her lounger on holiday again with her eyes closed ☺️

So nice to be bathed by the sun and fresher air.

So if your coming along soon there is always that option in the heat , why not have your own glorious window of peace 🕊️

Chronic illness and what I have learned is….

Having autoimmune thyroid disease myself I have a real interest in treating people with chronic illnesses , and exploring and learning about all of the other modalities on offer for us going through health challenges.
Some of the help I have needed has come from a huge variety of places (see comments section for this) ❤️

Some people live with constant exhausting pain that might ease up a little occasionally but they receive no freedom at all from experiencing pain, this can lead to mental health problems and illness for most people.
There are so many things that can improve your life with chronic illnesses and I encourage everyone to explore as many treatments as possible. I myself see the most benefits for people in the form of touch therapy but I incorporate other modalities as well.

So how does body work (therapeutic touching or manipulation of the body by using specialized techniques) help us to feel better?
The first steps in the way I work is actively listening to the person. What they say matters. I make time for expression of feelings that you have held back with loved ones . This is where I see the release start in the body, in speaking your truth. ❤️
Body work helps with nervous system regulation which helps reduce cortisol lowers anxiety, lowers heart rate and returns the body to a rest and digest state from being in a fight or flight response.
A calmer nervous system leads to less active pain responses in the body.
Working to help relieve tension, tight muscles and stiffness lets the body ease and release people will cry or feel very emotional as the body lets go of any tension.
Hands-on manipulation helps the circulation and lymph flow in the body which speeds up any tissue healing, reduces inflammation, and swelling.
By releasing tight connective tissue and improving joint movement, bodywork increases range of motion, making daily movement easier.

so lucky to have been able to take the time out for this adventure, met some beautiful people and everyone was soo friendly , feeling super lucky and blessed ☺️✨

Hi there ! I’m Laura 💜
I first felt the surrendering of my body whilst experiencing massage ,then came the dropping down into a bliss state, freedom in this space from anxiety and my busy thoughts, I knew this was what I was meant to offer to others.
Purple Patch Holistics was birthed both from my love of being in nature , the colour purple and also with the idiom ‘Purple Patch’ in mind which is used to describe a golden period of sustained success, good luck, or peak performance. I feel that everyone no matter what there story, or body should be free to experience a space that offers the feelings of love, being nurtured , safe and cared for because I believe that is what being lucky and successful is , and in that moment of being totally immersed in a massage or healing you are at the centre of it all , because you are equal to anyone else that breathes the same air as you . It’s mine to hold but it’s your Purple Patch.

Who knows what your experience at the Purple Patch garden room can bring for you in your life , I’m just happy that I can keep holding these sessions for you all ☺️✨
