CELEBRATION TIME
I absolutely adore july - a month of celebration. Over the moon to share with you some impressions of this month‘s closing ceremonies & beyond proud to send more incredibly talented Natural Shamanism & Sound Healing Practitioners out into the world to spread their healing gifts & medicine.

A very special beekeeping moment…
Today I found and marked my very first home-bred queen….
Earlier this year, my beautiful prize queen was preparing to swarm with half the hive… Rather than lose her, I carefully moved her into a new hive, taking the swarm before nature did.

That left the original hive without a queen…
So the worker bees did what they’ve evolved to do for millions of years. They began raising a new queen. Several queen cells were created.

I selected one to remain, allowing a single new queen to hatch and inherit the colony.
Today… I found her. 💛🍯💛

This magnificent young queen is the daughter of my original prize queen. Strong. Calm. Beautiful.
The next generation has begun. ✨🐝✨

I gently marked her with a completely harmless queen-marking pen. The tiny coloured dot means I can find her much more easily during future hive inspections to make sure she’s healthy and thriving. Every healthy hive has just one queen.

She is the mother of almost every bee in the colony and lays the eggs that keep the hive alive.
She truly is the heart of the hive. 🐝💛🐝

Moments like this make my heart sing. Watching one generation pass gently into the next…
Nature never stops teaching us about trust, renewal and new beginnings. 🍯💛🍯

The expertise, insight and wisdom embodied by OPD practitioners in Wales is extraordinary, and offers an incredible resource opportunity to understand what it actually takes for people/community/culture to successfully transition to a land-based one planet lifestyle. And whilst this knowledge may be currently overlooked by the mainstream one day it may well shape society's future.
