Yesterday a few of our lovely residents went on outings. Some of them went along to the local working men’s club even though some don’t drink it’s important to keep everyone interacting and social within the local community and they really enjoy it. Some of the residents went to crook for a spot of shopping and some lunch. Look at the smiles and laughter they really enjoy going out. We love seeing them all happy.

Willington care village would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who contributed to our summer fair today we honestly couldn’t do it without you all. ❤️

The weather did have an impact the wind was crazy at times we weren’t as busy as normal and we did have a few mishaps with tickets but overall we had an amazing day. 💨

Thankyou to all staff that really came together to help whether with organising, helping with stalls or fetching our lovely residents out. I’d personally also like to thank Wayne Vegas for our live entertainment thankyou so much we really do appreciate what you did. Also thankyou to Sunderland and district classic vehicle society for fetching along there lovely classic cars. I love planning and organising events it’s lovely to see all the teams come together and shows just how much support we have from the local community..

We will be drawing the raffle on Monday good luck everyone.

We will announce how much we raised money for our residents comfort funds on Monday when everything has been counted..

Yesterday we had our monthly themed event. This month was Hawaiian themed with the Amazing Sam Naylor. We had fun with an hydration trolly with cocktails and fruit, fun with props and photos complete with music and dance with Sam and staff. The smiles and laughter say it all they had such an amazing day

We want to say a massive thankyou to everyone that was involved in raising funds to revamp Richmond courts garden. Lots of planning with sponsored walks and fundraising. Just goes to show what can be achieved by a team that pulls together. £935 in total is going to really give a wonderful make over. Well done huge congratulations. Xx
