This time last week I returned exhausted but excited from intensive 4 day EMDR Diploma (part 2) training in Knaresborough, Yorkshire.

Today, I started my Case study with a wonderful existing client. 🙏🏻
It was all about knowledge and preparation of the process.
Allowing them to understand is 💯% about trust in the process and our relationship within the therapy room.

We are both looking forward to the next steps in the process.

I feel so lucky, I love what I do 💚

Reflecting on the day.

Phew! it was a hot, humid one in Manchester today. But it wasn't the heat that melted me.

It was my lovely clients, from new today, through to double figures in.
Their trust, openess, messiness, curiosity vulnerable selves and just being, was so beautiful to hold.
I feel so priviledged to share their lives 💚

Yesterday, I introduced an existing client to my Walk and Talk therapy.
Yes, we were blessed with the weather, but I experienced them fully embrace it.
Noticing more free flowing thoughts and emotions, yet still remaining emotionally safe being held by our surrounding nature.

The action of the gentle walk promoted our brain to release natural dopamine and endorphine chemicals. Win!

At the end of our session, I asked with curiosity for one word to describe their session.
Answer = OPEN
This filled my heart 💚 and we have booked another Walk & Talk session.
