Recently we enjoyed a boat trip from Hythe Marina and down the River Itchen with the amazing Solent Dolphin on the Alison McGregor catamaran.
We were so lucky to have had perfect weather on the day and that we got to see the black swans! Thank you to the amazing crew for such a fabulous day, they went above and beyond to make our trip special and comfortable!

The daughter of one of our residents was looking after one of the stalls at the Upham Church Fete , so we planned for us to visit to support her! The residents and staff had a lovely day, walking around seeing the different stalls, meeting people and enjoying the food!

What a lovely event and day organised by Upham Church, thank you!

We love creating these special relationships between carers and residents. Having a key worker gives the residents a specific individual they can come to and, as Sandra said, have a laugh with! Residents/ families can choose who they wish to have as their key worker, or we will support with carefully matching them together to help create these special relationships.

One of our residents Pam was giving our team leader Ellie a pamper this week by brushing her hair while she completed her paperwork💆🏽‍♀️ it’s not just the staff who care for the residents 🥰😁

What to do in a heatwave?
Sit outside in the open air breeze, shaded by our large Oak tree, eating ice lollies and having fun with water pistols 🔫 ! When life gives you lemons, we’ll make lemonade! 🍋

MEXICAN DAY 🌵
Some residents have recently requested we do more themed days as these always go down well. So yesterday we enjoyed a Mexican themed day! Thanks to Mugi the chef for making different Mexican foods for us all to try and to Ellie for the fun decorations and Mexican themed activities!
