Levi enjoyed a fun day out with staff, starting with a trip to the cinema. After the movie, Levi and staff enjoyed a lovely walk down to the riverside and spent some time out in the fresh air. To finish off his day out, Levi chose a takeaway for lunch before heading back. 🎥🍿🚶🏼‍♂️

A Day Out at St Augustine Event Centre ✨

Daniel, Maud and Ina attended an activity session at St Augustine Event Centre. Ina enjoyed walking around the grounds, making happy vocal sounds throughout the visit. Daniel and Maud actively participated in the art session, where they were engaged and appeared to enjoy the activity.

It was a lovely day filled with creativity, exploration and enjoyable experiences. 🎨🤍

🌟 Haddon House Positive Outcomes Award Celebrations 🌟

Last month, Haddon House celebrated the incredible positive outcomes achieved by the people we support with a special awards celebration alongside family and friends.

The event was joined by Peterborough Lead Council, Dr Shabina Qayyum, and Councillor Amjad Iqbal, who presented awards together with Registered Manager Andreen and the PBS Team, Amanda and Steph.

It was a wonderful day filled with pride, appreciation, and plenty of smiles all around. 🤍

Maud and Ina enjoyed a local walk to the seafront. 🌊☀️

Ina was smiling, giggling, and making happy sounds throughout the walk, while Maud was in good spirits, chatting and laughing with staff. They both enjoyed spending time sunbathing at the beach before walking back to the house.

Maud and Ina remained in a positive mood and appeared relaxed and engaged throughout the activity. 🤍

Tomorrow, everyone at Holdingham is welcoming Jaine Hale who is coming for a visit! Our team over at the Lodge decided to make some Easy Read leaflets for all of the individuals we support so that they are involved, ready for tomorrow and can think of any questions that they would like to ask beforehand!

Everybody loved this, and Chris and Lucy both wanted to help out delivering these to their peers! Now everyone is looking forward to welcoming Jaine again tomorrow!

🛒 This week, the people we support at The Lustrells enjoyed a successful shopping trip to Asda, promoting independence, choice, and community participation.

Before heading out, everyone worked with staff to create personalised shopping lists based on their preferences and household needs. Leon confidently followed his list and independently found the items he needed, while Larbi enjoyed choosing his milk and some of his favourite snacks.

With encouragement and support from staff, the trip was a positive opportunity to build confidence, make independent choices, and enjoy being part of the local community. 💙
