🦁🌞✨ 8/8 LIONS GATE PORTAL — 8 RITUALS FOR ABUNDANCE ✨🌞🦁

The 8th of August is traditionally celebrated in spiritual and New Age circles as the Lions Gate Portal — a time associated with Leo energy, the Sun, Sirius and the powerful symbolism of 888: infinity, balance, prosperity and abundance. ♾️

Whether you work with energy, spirituality, or simply enjoy using meaningful rituals to set your intentions, today is a beautiful opportunity to pause, reset and focus on what you want to grow.

So let's bring a little HG Apothecary magic into 8/8… 🌿

🌿 1. The Abundance Herb Jar

Create your own little prosperity jar using herbs traditionally associated with abundance.

✨ Cinnamon — prosperity & success
✨ Basil — wealth & protection
✨ Rosemary — clarity & intention
✨ Bay leaf — wishes & manifestation

Add your herbs to a small jar and write your intention on a piece of paper to place inside.

Whisper: “I welcome abundance in all its forms.”

Light a gold, yellow or green candle and place it somewhere safe.

Surround it with Citrine or Green Aventurine and spend a few quiet minutes visualising the life you're working towards.

Step outside, take 8 slow breaths and place your hands over your solar plexus.

Imagine warm golden light filling your body.

For generations, people have turned to the plants.

Long before “wellness” became a word we saw everywhere, there was quiet, steady knowledge being passed down, hand to hand. Remedies made slowly. Oils infused with care. Herbs chosen with respect. Not because it was trendy, but because it helped.

That is the kind of wisdom I honour at HG Apothecary.

Natural remedies carry more than ingredients. They carry stories. They carry tradition. They carry the reminder that we are part of nature, not separate from it.

Everything I make has been made with real care, in small batches, with the hope of keeping that ancient knowledge alive, preserved and practiced for the greater good of all.

✨ New coffee, who dis? ☕🌈

I've been trying Spacegoods Rainbow Dust Coffee, and I have to say... I'm genuinely impressed! 💜

As someone who loves a good coffee but doesn't always love the afternoon slump, this has been a really enjoyable alternative. The taste is smooth, rich and comforting, with none of the bitterness I sometimes get from regular coffee.

What makes Rainbow Dust different is that it's not just coffee. It's a blend of coffee, functional mushrooms and adaptogens, including:
