☀️💦 Fun in the Sun! 🎉

We’ve been making the most of the sunshine with lots of fun and laughter!💦 Water pistol fun, friendly card games 🃏and a bit of bean bag tossing kept everyone entertained.

We were chatting at the care home about our upcoming fete, and I told Authur we’re having a Frank Sinatra tribute.🎤

He said, “I like My Way” - and before I knew it, he was singing to me! 😂🎶

Looks like we’ve already found our surprise headliner! Authur might have to take to the stage at the fete now…Frank Sinatra has some competition,😁👏

Well…our Manager finally paid the price 😂💦

As promised, she bravely took her seat in the pool while all kinds of food were tipped over her…before getting a very refreshing blast from the hosepipe ! Safe to say, she won’t be volunteering for that again anytime soon! 😂

The laughter from our residents and families, and team made every soggy second worthwhile, and seeing so many smiles was the best reward of all ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported our fundraising challenge. Every penny raised will go towards creating even more special activities, outgoings, and memorable experiences for our wonderful residents.

Were busy counting all the donations, and we will announce the total amount raised as soon as it’s been confirmed. Watch this space 👀💙

Thank you all for your incredible generosity and support-it really does make a difference, even if it meant sacrificing our Manager’s dignity for a good cause!😂👏
