👋Hello dear friends! Just a little update from Ascent HQ. I’m in the very blessed position of struggling to meet demand just now, and my next day time appointments are in November. My evenings are now booked up until the end of the year.

Thank you all so much for the commitment to book ahead, and for your patience. As you know I love seeing each and every one of you, and I’m really doing my best to fit everyone in.

It would be so tempting to add another slot or two a day, and in the short term that may help. However, this girl isn’t getting any younger and I need to honour my body for the long term. I can’t give you the massages that you need with tired hands and arms, a painful back and a weary soul.

I space my time with you mindfully, I want you to feel your time here is about easing and recovering, no rushing here.

So, know that I’m doing my best within the confines of a middle aged body and limited hours in the day to nurture a gentle pace ensuring your needs are met. Apologies if that means a wait.

Sooo summer is always an interesting time! 🌞 I have a bit (a week!) of leave in August and September to rest and enjoy time with my family, but this means work hours are a teeny bit squeezed over the next couple of months.

📆 August and September are pretty much full, but there is still availability in October and I’m always happy for people to book ahead. Apologies for any inconvenience, and I promise that I’ll do my best to accommodate when I can.

I really appreciate your continued support and patience, you’re all such legends that I always do my best to get more time with you 🥰 🥰

Today I visited Ventnor Botanical Gardens, which I love as I get to see so many plants that are used to make the oils that I use everyday!
Here’s a selection of my silly face with some, including Eucalyptus (Smithii), Tea Tree and obviously beautiful lavender!

I’m looking forward to spending a week with my family, so I’ll be leaving my diary at home. I’ll do my best to respond as quickly as I can on my return, but in the mean time I’ll mostly be found in the sea cooling down after this week!

So, in the picture is me with Roman chamomile-which is the one I generally use in massage. It’s STRONG! Herby and grassy smelling- I love it but it’s not to everyone’s taste- in fact it’s been known to make children cry they say it smells so overwhelming 🤣🤣
You have to use it with caution when blending as it will totally overtake a blend. It’s fantastic for relaxing and calming the body and mind and good for muscular pain. Brilliant for use in evening blends and bedtime routines as it helps relieve insomnia.

It’s non toxic and very safe to use (diluted obviously, and is often used in baby products.

As a note- I thought you may also like to see a couple of other pictures (and allow me some more nerdy time 🤓). I also use German or Blue chamomile- particularly in skin care- it’s amazing at helping cell regeneration, so is perfect for eczema or dry/ sore skin. Very expensive and strong smelling you don’t need to use much- but LOOK at the colour-
