Breaking: New poll finds businesses “wasteful” with ineffective workplace health initiatives.

A new poll to mark Occupational Health Awareness Week has found 68% UK adults think occupational health is important but just 10% believe some current workplace health & wellbeing services important.

SOM and COHPA have urged business leaders to be more strategic and seek occupational health expertise.

We’re reaching out to ask you to consider supporting this high-profile COVID -19 study. You may be eligible if you have had:
• Symptoms attributable to COVID-19 beginning in the last 5 days
• A positive PCR SARS-CoV-2 test for COVID-19
• Aged ≥50 years or over, OR aged 18-49 years with any known underlying chronic health condition considered to make you clinically vulnerable

𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. As we move back into lockdown conditions, please remember you can contact the NHS Volunteer Responders if you are shielding and need help. They can collect shopping or prescriptions, give you a regular friendly phone call or give you lifts to medical appointments.

Following more reports of scam phone calls, it is important that everyone knows that if the NHS want to contact you:
You'll be contacted by email, text or phone.
Text messages will come from NHStracing. Calls will come from 0300 0135000.
Children under 18 will be contacted by phone wherever possible and asked for their parent or guardian's permission to continue the call.
You'll be asked to sign in to the NHS Test and Trace contact tracing website at https://contact-tracing.phe.gov.uk.
If you cannot use the contact tracing website, they will call you.
