Today we had the pleasure of celebrating Mick's birthday with lots of smiles, laughter, and birthday wishes from everyone at the home. Mick enjoyed celebrating his special day with friends, staff, and some delicious birthday treats.

We went shopping for tomorrow's birthday buffet. The smiles on our faces grew even bigger the moment we heard it was buffet time.

Today, we went for a sensory walk around Milfield Park in Easingwold. It was a pleasant experience, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, take in the surroundings, and engage with the different sights, sounds, and textures of nature.

There was a wonderful sense of togetherness today as some of our residents' family members joined us to care for our feathered visitors by filling the bird feeders and providing fresh water. 🐦💙

Sharing these simple moments with loved ones makes them even more meaningful. It was lovely to see our friend help us to support the wildlife that brings so much joy to our garden.

Today, we had the pleasure of joining our sister home to celebrate the Riverhead Pride Extravaga, it was a fantastic day!

Our residents had an amazing time enjoying live music filled with timeless classics, singing along to their favourite songs, dancing with smiles on their faces, trying their luck at the tombola, and cooling off with delicious ice cream from Buster's Quality Ices. 🍦🎶💃

🌞 What a lovely afternoon! Our residents enjoyed a refreshing walk to Shipton Park, taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. We then visited the DAWNAY ARMS for a well earned drink, where everyone relaxed, chatted, and enjoyed spending time together. Smiles all around and another wonderful day making happy memories! 💙🚶☕🍹

We had such a lovely trip out today to Albert Park in Middlesborough where we had a nice walk around the beautiful lake. We stopped at our favourite little lakeside cafe where we all had hot chocolate. The weather being a little cooler than of late helped as we were able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air whilst watching the ducks!
