Do you KNOW what it is you *should* be doing, but struggle to keep it going for more than a few hours/days/weeks at a time? I know what that feels like and I believe I can help!

14 years ago, I lost over half of my body weight after joining my local Weight Watchers workshop. I knew beforehand my habits were not healthy, and I knew what needed to change. What I was missing was the vital ingredient that actually motivated me to change: the magic of the support of having a routine, a place to go every week where people would root for me, cheer me on, and commiserate when things didn’t go quite according to plan. Now it means so much to me to be able to provide that support and space to others, running my workshops at Heworth Methodist Church on Tuesday evenings, and York Railway Bowls and Social Club on Saturday mornings.

If you’re not a Weight Watchers member yet, you can use my link to get a special discount when you join today *

The first (very early) birthday meal this year! Delicious aubergine parmigiana - and with garlic bread! I joined WW 14 years ago this year, and it was the best choice I made for my health, happiness, and longevity. I truly believe in the power of community and support for making a difference and this is what drives what I do. I became a coach in 2016 and have so loved being able to be alongside people as they make positive changes in their lives.

I currently run 2 wonderful workshops based in York, Tuesday evenings at Heworth Methodist Church and Saturday mornings at the York Railway Bowls and Social Club. If you feel you want to make a change, feel healthier, lose weight and feel more like yourself I would really love to see you there. You will get the warmest of welcomes!

I also have a fantastic offer which currently has an amazing 70% off our plan for a year - with this you are able to come along to our amazing workshops as well as get all of the fab features in the app! This is a brilliant bargain for £8.40 a month!

This week we're discussing everything breakfast!

Is it the most important meal of the day?
What are your go-to choices for breakfast?
What is the impact if you skip it?
Do your breakfast choices change with the seasons?

Personally, I am a creature of such habit and have my porridge with bananas and blueberries year round, but it is fascinating to explore what works for others. Come along to a workshop and be inspired this week!

A new season has sprung, and so have our habits! From macros to movement, sleep to food noise, we’re keeping it fresh, fun, and
focused on progress, not perfection.

Our workshop this week explores how sleep affects weight loss, mood, cravings, and daily habits. By tracking and noticing patterns, you'll learn what's working and identify the powerful changes you want to make.

Come to a workshop this week and learn how to use the Weight Watchers app to build awareness of your sleep patterns, track trends, and discover small changes for better, more consistent rest.

A little reminder for when that volume on the inner critic turns up for some reason! Sometimes it can feel like we have lost all of our progress and that can feel really crushing - but remember we are always moving, changing, progressing. You know more now than you did before, and I want you to know that recognising the smallest steps of progress can have a huge impact on how you feel about yourself!

Important thought for this week! Feeling like quitting is totally understandable, expected at times.

We can't feel a consistently high level of motivation all the time and let's face it, sometimes things just feel really tough!

But at those points, if we can reconnect with what motivated us in the first place, I feel this can give us a power-up and the window of opportunity to get the support we need.

I would love to know why you started, and also if your reason why has changed over time!

I do love a bit of baking, and with Valentine’s Day coming it has got me thinking all about love. What it means to love ourselves specifically- well I think it involves nourishing ourselves with whole, nutritious food, but balancing this with the foods that might not be classed as nutritious in the traditional sense!

Moderation can be the hardest thing, but truly the healthiest. Would you like to guess how many points are in these lovelies? 😊
