Myth: "I'm not overweight, I'm just big b***d. It runs in my family!"

Fact: There’s no such thing as being big b***d when it comes to weight.

Truth: "Big b***d" isn’t a medical term. It’s an old excuse we’ve used to make extra weight sound genetic. The reality is, that bigger bones actually mean you're taller or you have longer limbs, NOT HEAVY BONES!

Your bones only makes up about 14% of your total body weight. That’s around 23 lbs for women and 27.5 lbs for men. So nope, you're bones aren’t what’s putting pounds on your scale!

So, now that you know better, the next time you hear someone say they're "Big-Bonned", please educate them (with love) 💛
