arents, will require careful planning, emotional preparation, and gentle support during pregnancy and after baby is earth-side. as a woman who one day hopes to have children of her own, it kills me to see women give birth, especially in the hospital setting, who don’t know they are in charge of their birthing experience. you are allowed to say no, allowed to change your mind, and even allowed to fire providers entirely! as your doula, i will use science-based and research driven birth data to help educate you on childbirth so that you feel empowered and strong enough to write your birth story exactly how you want it. while i am your advocate, my goal is to teach how you to bravely and safely advocate for yourself during your birth.
