DON’T SIT AT HOME AND WAIT FOR YOUR LIFE TO CHANGE.

Sometimes, the divine encounter you have been praying for is waiting outside your comfort zone.

Don’t allow your mind to keep telling you, “Stay here. Nothing will happen. You can do it tomorrow.”

There are moments when you must move, seek, pray, connect, travel, attend, learn, serve, and show up because your next opportunity may be connected to a place you have never been, a person you have never met, or an encounter you never expected.

🌿 One divine encounter can introduce you to a person who changes your direction.
🔥 One spiritual gathering can awaken something within you.
🚪 One decision to step outside can open a door you have been praying for.
🙏 One moment of sincere prayer can give you the clarity you have been seeking.

The universe may have already prepared the opportunity but you still have to take the step.

Don’t confuse waiting on God with refusing to move.

Pray, but move.
Believe, but act.
Prepare, but show up.
Trust the divine, but don’t imprison yourself inside your comfort zone.

Your next divine encounter may be closer than you think but you have to be willing to leave where you are to meet it.

Sometimes the blessing is not waiting at home. Sometimes it is waiting at the place your faith leads you.

🕉️ WHY DOES KRISHNA APPEAR IN THIS WORLD?
Someone may ask, “If Krishna is the Supreme Lord, why does He appear in this material world?”
The answer is given by Krishna Himself in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 4, Verse 7:
Yadā yadā hi dharmasya
glānir bhavati bhārata
abhyutthānam adharmasya
tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmy aham
Krishna explains to Arjuna that whenever there is a decline in dharma and a rise of adharma, He manifests Himself.
Think about that deeply.
According to the Bhagavad-gita, Krishna does not require anybody's permission to appear. Everything ultimately belongs to the Supreme. He does not enter His own creation as an ordinary conditioned living being.
He descends by His own will.
This is why we speak about the appearance of Krishna, rather than an ordinary material birth.
And His appearance has a purpose.
When humanity moves away from dharma, when spiritual consciousness declines, and when adharma becomes dominant, the Divine intervenes to restore spiritual principles.
The next verse, Bhagavad-gita 4.8, continues this teaching by explaining the purposes of that divine appearance: protecting the righteous, confronting destructive forces, and re-establishing dharma.
✨ Krishna does not appear because material nature forces Him to come. In the Vaishnava understanding, He appears by His own divine will and for His own divine purpose.
That is the difference between our birth and Krishna's appearance.

🕉️ OCTOBER: A SACRED TIME TO REMEMBER OUR ANCESTORS

Namaste 🙏

A very important spiritual period is approaching—Pitru Paksha, the sacred period traditionally dedicated to remembering, honouring and offering prayers for our departed ancestors.

In 2026, Pitru Paksha extends from late September into October, concluding with Sarva Pitru Amavasya on 10th October.

During my journey to India, I will be travelling to Gaya, Bihar, one of the most revered places in Hindu tradition for Shraddha and Pinda Daan—traditional rites performed in honour of departed family members and ancestors.

According to Vedic tradition, these ceremonies are offered with prayers for the peace and spiritual welfare of departed ancestors and as an expression of gratitude toward those who came before us.

Think about your family.

Your parents.
Your grandparents.
Your great-grandparents.
And those whose names may no longer even be remembered.

We are here today because somebody came before us.

🕉️ WHY DO WE SAY KRISHNA “APPEARS” RATHER THAN “IS BORN”?

Why do the Vedic teachings speak about the appearance of Lord Krishna rather than His birth in the ordinary sense?

According to the Bhagavad-gita, Krishna is not described as an ordinary living being who comes into existence through material birth.

In Bhagavad-gita 4.6, Krishna explains that although He is unborn, His transcendental nature does not deteriorate, and He is the Lord of all living entities, He still appears by His own divine potency.

So someone may ask:

“If Krishna is unborn, how can He appear in this world? Isn't that a contradiction?”

No. Within the Vaishnava understanding, there is an important distinction between ordinary birth and divine appearance.

We take birth because we are conditioned by material nature and karma. Krishna's appearance, however, is understood as voluntary and transcendental. He does not become God after appearing—He appears as the Supreme Lord.

This connects beautifully with Bhagavad-gita 4.9, where Krishna describes His birth and activities as divyam—transcendental.

And the Brahma-samhita declares:

“Īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ
sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ
anādir ādir govindaḥ
sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam.”

In this Vaishnava teaching, Krishna is understood as Govinda—the beginning who has no beginning, and the cause of all causes.

So when we celebrate Krishna's appearance, we are not simply commemorating the birthday of an extraordinary historical personality.

🙏 We are celebrating the divine appearance of the Supreme Lord.

Krishna does not appear because He is forced by karma. He appears by His own divine will.

🕉️ UNDERSTANDING THE DIVINE APPEARANCE OF LORD KRISHNA

Today, let us reflect on something profound about the appearance and activities of Lord Krishna.

In the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Chapter 4, Verse 9, Krishna explains to Arjuna that one who truly understands the transcendental nature of His birth and activities does not take birth again in the material world after leaving the body, but attains His eternal abode.

The Sanskrit begins:

“Janma karma ca me divyam…”

This teaching invites us to understand that, within the Vaishnava tradition, Krishna's appearance is understood differently from the ordinary birth of a conditioned living being. His appearance and activities are described as divyam—transcendental or divine.

Krishna is addressed by many names, and across different cultures and languages, people use different names and attributes when speaking about the Supreme.

Names may differ. Languages may differ. Traditions may express their understanding of God differently. Yet sincere seekers everywhere continue searching for the Divine, the Supreme, the source of existence.

But Krishna's message to Arjuna goes deeper than simply knowing a name.

✨ To understand the Divine is also to understand our relationship with the Divine.

That understanding should transform how we live—our consciousness, actions, character, devotion, and relationship with other living beings.

The Bhagavad-gita is therefore not merely something to read. Its wisdom is something to contemplate and practise.
