Ghana Fire Service Trains Ga West Municipal Hospital Staff on Fire Safety and Emergency Response

The Ga West Municipal Hospital has enhanced its emergency preparedness through a fire safety training program conducted by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Ga West District Command. The training, held on the hospital premises, aimed to equip staff with practical knowledge on fire prevention, safety measures, and firefighting techniques.

The session was facilitated by officers from the Ga West District Fire Service, who took participants through vital topics such as identifying fire hazards within healthcare settings, safe evacuation procedures, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. Participants were also given the opportunity to engage in live demonstrations on how to combat different classes of fire safely and effectively.
