WHAT'S DENGUE FEVER?
Dengue fever is a mosquito borne disease caused by the dengue virus. It is transmitted through the bite of aedes mosquito (those that bite during the daytime). It is more common in tropical regions.
Symptoms of dengue include severe headache, joint and muscle pain, nausea and vomiting.
To prevent dengue fever, wear long sleeve dresses during daytime and also the use mosquito repellent during the daytime. Check and eliminate the breeding sites of mosquitos.
