WE ARE CHAMPIONS OF SAWLA TUNA KALBA CLUSTER OF PROJECTS !!!
We are proud to announce that our Child and Youth Development Center are champions of the second edition of the Sawla Tuna Kalba Cluster Inter-Project Sports Competition.
Our boys have successfully defended the trophy won two years ago. The journey was tough, but their discipline, focus, and teamwork made the difference.The team defeated Sawla Hosanna Child and Youth Development Centre 1:0 to claim the trophy.
Performance summary:
• 5 matches played
• 12 goals scored
• 2 goals conceded
Individual achievements:
• Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament
• Top Scorer of the tournament with 5 goals

Earlier this month, our center successfully conducted a comprehensive health screening exercise for participants. In total, 214 participants, 43 Survival Program participants, and caregivers benefited from the screening.
The exercise was carried out by Mediguard Consult, a health service provider based in the Upper West Region. The screening covered full blood count, ENT assessment, eye examination, physical examination, urine testing, stool examination, and other essential checks.
This activity forms part of our routine annual health screening aimed at promoting the well-being of participants. It helps with the early detection of medical conditions and supports timely referral and follow-up care. Through this intervention, the center continues to prioritize the health of participants and caregivers to ensure they remain in good condition for healthy growth and development
