You want to sleep? Restless legs + heat + frequent urination = try again.

And the hunger?
You eat at 9pm…

But the sweetest part?
Those strong kicks reminding you that your little human is almost here. ❤️

📌MAMA, ARE YOU DRINKING ENOUGH WATER💦?💔😭

Not tea.
Not soft drinks.
Not juice.

Plain water. 💦

Many pregnant women are walking around dehydrated and don't even realize it.

Then they start feeling:

🛑 Dizziness
🛑 Headaches
🛑 Tiredness
🛑 Braxton Hicks contractions
🛑 Dark yellow urine

And they think it's just "part of pregnancy."

Mama, your body needs extra water during pregnancy.

Your baby depends on it.
Your placenta depends on it.
Even your amniotic fluid depends on it.

Sometimes that headache you're worrying about is your body begging for water.

Today, take a moment and ask yourself:

"When was the last time I drank a full glass of water?" 🤔

Your baby may not be able to ask for water...

But your body gives signs when it needs it.

✍️📌 WHY SOME BABIES ARE BORN WITH CORD AROUND THEIR NECK.💔😭💔

This is one of those things that sounds scary… but happens more often than people think 😭👇🏽

💡 The baby is connected to the mother through the umbilical cord, which is long and flexible.

During pregnancy, baby is constantly moving, turning, stretching, and flipping inside the womb.

😳 So what actually causes it?

Sometimes:

Baby moves a lot in the womb

The cord is longer than average

There is enough amniotic fluid for free movement

Baby naturally turns around during growth

💡 This movement can cause the cord to wrap loosely around the neck, arm, or body.

😳 The surprising part?

Most babies born with cord around the neck are STILL completely healthy at birth.

❌ It is NOT always dangérous
❌ It does NOT automatically mean C-section
❌ It does NOT mean something went wrong in pregnancy

👩🏽‍⚕️ During labour: Doctors and midwives carefully monitor the baby’s heart rate and delivery process.

If needed, they gently unwrap or safely manage the cord during birth.

💬 The most important thing to know:

It is usually just a normal part of how active babies are in the womb.

💡 Nothing you did caused it.

💬 Did you know babies can be born with cord around the neck and still be fine?

📌WHY YOU NEED TO TAKE CLOVES OFTEN AS A WOMAN.....👇👇👇

✍️ help regulate blood sugar levels when combined with a healthy lifestyle.

✍️It can help boost immune system

✍️ It contains anti inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation.

✍️It helps support reproductive system.

✍️ It contains antioxidant that can help prevent cell damage.

Listen: cloves can be good but consuming in excess can cause some side effects or interact with certain medications. If you are on medication I advise you speak with your doctor.

I hope this is understandable?

🚨 WHEN THE DOCTOR SAYS "DON'T PUSH YET!" 💔😭👇👇👇

Imagine being in labour...

The pressure is intense 😭💔

Your body is screaming:

"PUSH NOW!" 😩👇🏽

But then the doctor or midwife looks at you and says:

🗣️ "Don't push yet!"

😳 Wait... WHAT?!

At that moment, many women are thinking:

"How am I supposed to stop?!" 😭

💡 Here's why this sometimes happens:

The cervix may not be fully dilated yet.

Or baby may need a little more time to move into a better position.

🛑 Pushing too early can make labour longer and leave you exhausted before it's time.

That's why healthcare providers sometimes ask mothers to breathe through contractions instead of pushing.

And trust me...

For many women, that can feel harder than the contractions themselves 😭💔

The surprising part?

Waiting a little longer can sometimes make pushing more effective when the right moment finally comes.

❌ Don't assume the healthcare team is trying to délay your delivery

✅ They're trying to help you and baby have the safest birth possible

💬 Be honest...

Do you think you could stop yourself from pushing if your body was telling you to push? 😳👇🏽

✍️ WHY SOME BABIES ARE BORN BEFORE THEIR DUE DATE WITHOUT WARNING 🔥👇👇

Many moms think they’ll have weeks to prepare before labour starts...

Then baby says, “Nope, I’m coming now!” 😭💔👇🏽

One minute everything seems normal...

The next minute contractions start, water breaks, or labour progresses unexpectedly fast 😳

💡 The truth?

Not all babies wait until their due date.

Some babies are born weeks earlier than expected.

😳 Why can this happen?

👉🏽 Early labour can sometimes start on its own

👉🏽 Some pregnancy complications may require early delivery

👉🏽 In many cases, the exact reason is never fully known

🛑 That’s why it’s important to pay attention to warning signs during pregnancy:

❌ Regular contractions before your due date

❌ Fluid leaking from the vagîna

❌ Vagînal blèèding

❌ Strong pelvic pressure that feels unusual

💡 Never ignore symptoms because you think “it’s too early for baby to come.”

Many mothers who deliver early never expected labour that day.

💬 Be honest:

If your labour started tonight and your due date was still weeks away... would your hospital bag be ready? 😳👇🏽

📌🙎WHAT HAPPENED DURING DELIVERY THIS MORNING… MY HANDS ARE STILL SHAKING AS I TYPE THIS 😭💔

She was only 19 years old.
First pregnancy.
Very shy.
Very quiet.
When she entered the labour ward, she kept smiling through the pain.

"Dr ADAMA… I think my baby is coming today…" 🥺
Everything looked normal at first.
Baby heartbeat was fine.
Contractions were active.
Cervix opening well.
Even her mother was happy.

"This one will deliver fast," somebody said.
But sometimes…
Labour can change in seconds.
Hours later…

She suddenly grabbed my hand tightly.

"Dr… I can’t breathe well…"

At first, we thought maybe it was just labour pain.
But then…
Something changed.
Her lips started turning pale.
Sweat everywhere.

Her breathing became strange.
Then suddenly…
She started gasping.
Like someone struggling underwater.

The baby’s heartbeat dropped immediately.

FAST.
Sharp.
Dangérous.
The monitor alarm started sounding.
Everybody turned at once.
And that moment…
The whole room changed.
"Oxygen NOW!"

Doctors rushed in.

She was trying to talk…
But no words were coming out.
Only fear in her eyes.
Then suddenly…
Her body went weak.
Completely weak.

She cõllapsed back on the bed.

The baby’s heartbeat dropped again.
Lower.
Lower.
Lower.
That terrifying silence entered the room.
The kind of silence that makes your chest tight.
The doctor shouted:

"Rush her to theatre NOW!"

No délay.
No wasting time.
Inside theatre…
Nobody was talking much.
Everybody already understood the dãnger.
The baby was running out of time.
And so was the mother.
The surgeon moved fast.
Very fast.
The anaesthetist kept checking her breathing.
But her oxygen level kept dropping.

At one point…

One of the nurses quietly started praying under her breath.
Because honestly?
It was becoming scãry.
Then finally…

The baby was brought out.

A baby girl.
Tiny.
Beautiful.
But silent.
No movement.
No cry.
Nothing.
That moment?

My heart broke.

Paediatricians immediately started working on her.
Oxygen.
Stimulation.
Chest rubs.
Still nothing.
Then after what felt like forever…
The baby suddenly coughed.

Once.

Then cried loudly 😭🙌
Everybody breathed again.
But the mother…
Was still not okay.
Her eyes remained closed.
Her breathing still unstable.
Minutes passed.
And honestly…
The fear in that theatre was unbearable.

Then suddenly…

Tears rolled down from the corner of her closed eyes.
One small tear.
And softly…
Very softly…
She whispered:
"My baby…"

Jesus 😭💔

Everybody in that theatre froze.

Because we knew she was fighting to come back.
We brought the baby close to her face.
And immediately the baby cried again.
The mother opened her eyes slowly…
Looked at her daughter…
And started crying too.
The theatre became emotional instantly.
Even some strong nurses had tears in their eyes.

Today reminded me again:

♦️ Labour is not always predictable
♦️ Complications can happen suddenly
♦️ Every safe delivery is a miracle nobody should take for granted
Some women smile into labour…
And still fîght for their lives minutes later.

💔 But today…
Mercy spoke again.
Both mother and child survived.

🙏 To every pregnant woman reading this:

You will not dîe during childbirth
Your baby will enter this world safely
And your delivery will end with joy and celebration
