Αγαπήστε τα πάντα / τους πάντες

​Η συμπόνια σας είναι ατελής μέχρι να συμπεριλάβει τον ίδιο σας τον εαυτό. Απελευθερώστε την αυτο-κρητική, την αυτο-τιμωρία και την αυτο-υπονόμευση.
​Όποτε κοιτάμε ένα μέρος του εαυτού μας ή κάποιον άλλον και λέμε "Αυτό δεν αξίζει αγάπη", άθελά μας βάζουμε ένα εμπόδιο στην ίδια μας την καρδιά.
​Μπορεί να μας έχουν διδάξει άλλοι ότι η ευαισθησία είναι για τους αδύναμους, ότι η συμπόνια είναι για τους αφελης και ότι η αγάπη είναι μόνο για τους όμορφους και αυτούς που την αξίζουν.
​Οι περισσότεροι από εμάς θα έχουμε κληρονομήσει τις κρίσεις των γονιών μας και των προσώπων εξουσίας για εμάς. Αυτές οι κρίσεις μπορεί να έχουν παραμείνει ως εμπόδια στο να αγαπήσουμε τον εαυτό μας καθώς ενηλικιωθήκαμε.
​Τα τείχη που υψώνουμε μέσα μας συνήθως δεν μένουν μόνο εκεί, αλλά γίνονται τα τείχη που υψώνουμε ανάμεσα στον εαυτό μας και στους άλλους γύρω μας.
​Πιστεύοντας ότι είμαστε ελαττωματικοί και ανάξιοι αγάπης, στην πραγματικότητα επηρεάζουμε τις σχέσεις μας επειδή είμαστε απασχολημένοι στο να κρύβουμε τα σημεία της ντροπής μας από τους άλλους, παίρνοντας αποστάσεις από αυτούς και προβάλλοντας προσωπεία.
​Έχει έρθει η ώρα να μάθουμε να τα αγαπάμε όλα. Η αυθεντικότητα γίνεται σημαντική για εμάς μόλις η αυτο-αγάπη μάς διδάξει να αποδεχόμαστε τον εαυτό μας μαζί με όλες τις ατέλειές μας. Κάνοντάς το αυτό, το να αγαπάμε τους άλλους και τις δικές τους ατέλειες γίνεται επίσης ευκολότερο.
​Η συμπόνια γίνεται φυσική όταν καταλάβουμε ότι όλοι έχουν πληγωθεί με κάποιον τρόπο από ψευδείς πεποιθήσεις και φόβο. Η συμπόνια μας είναι πλήρης όταν περιλαμβάνει τους πάντες και τον εαυτό μας.
​Φέροντας αυτή τη συμπόνια, θα πολεμάμε λιγότερο τον εαυτό μας, θα τον αγαπάμε περισσότερο και θα γίνουμε ικανοί για περισσότερα.
