The fun hasn’t started yet~ meet your cohort for the next 4 and enjoy some time together building new connections through a full day of fun games and activities we have prepared for you!!

Time - 8:30am - 6:00pm

Hey guys! I’m Kate, and it is my honor to be your new chairperson for the Global Health and Development Society session 2026-2027. Along with the other members, I am excited to bring Kaizen to its limit and new heights- continuing the bond our predecessors have created amongst the GHD community, we hope to bring our own flavor into the mix and keep the connection alive and healthy 🌏🤝❤️‍🩹

As a member, I hope to be the person you can always reach out to. Whether it’s for guidance or simply inside info to survive the course (I assure you it’s not as bad as I’m making it sound 😀), and with all of your contribution I hope to lead the society for it to become your second family and provide to all of your fullest expectations for Kaizen⚕️‼️

Hey everyone!! I’m Jasmine, your Internal Vice Chairperson for GHD Society 26–27 🩺🌏
You’ll probably find me wandering around campus with earphones in, hunting for new music or going on random walks 🎧🌇. I love meeting new people, sharing ideas, and turning small moments into big memories ✨.

I’m so excited to be part of Kaizen this year — a team all about growth, good vibes, and creating meaningful connections 🌱💬. As your Internal VP, I can’t wait to bring everyone together through events that are not just fun but unforgettable.

I’m dedicated to connecting with each of you for raising awareness towards health issues that we are facing globally, and to striving for improvement based on an epidemiologically systematic approach backed by science-based research. 🧬It is also my hope that I could serve each of you within the GHD community with the help of our society members, and that everyone could rely on us with faith. 🤍

We’re beyond excited to announce the handover of the Global Health and Development Society and introduce you to the new executive committee for the 2026-2027, Kaizen⚕️

Kaizen is a Japanese philosophy that aims for continuous improvement. To break it down simply:
Kai（改）- directs the act of change, to not rewrite, but to preserve and build on the past legacy and narrative that the previous executive committee has left
Zen（善）- directs the value of the change; no change is bad, change occurs with a reason, and we continue to evolve for the better~
Thus, building our ✨vision board for GHD 2026-27 society✨

We welcome our members to unite and uphold new, fresh, and unheard-of ideas to continue making revolutionary contributions to the world of healthcare.

The executive committee not only is here to help guide but also to create an enduring bond amongst all cohorts, where knowledge can flourish, new connections are made, and challenges are tackled together as one. It is an unspoken rule, no matter where we’re from, our age, or belief, we are all here to achieve the same goal, which is to graduate 🎓‼️
BUT also to one day create a world of equal, safe, and accessible healthcare ⛑️🩺

Hi guys, I’m Netanya, your financial secretary for the Global Health and Development Society 2026-2027💸🏥

I’ll be in charge of managing our society’s budget and tracking expenses related to our society. I hope to utilize the funds in a way that can help better serve the student body. I aim to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive in university. Along with the rest of the Kaizen team, we hope to grow and foster a supportive GHD community 🤝
