Psychologist Assistant (Administrative)
Job Descriptions:
1. Assists counselling psychologists in the management of psychological services which includes:
a. Providing professional support, e.g. assisting scoring in psychological assessments and inventories;
b. Devising the relevant workflow for the operation of the centre
c. Maintaining research and clinical databases;
d. Handing logistics and implementation of psychological services of the centre (e.g. production of proposals, literature search and conducting outcome measures, etc).
2. Performs receptionist duties and answers general enquiries, including replying to emails, handling service applications, arranging clients’ appointments, and so on
3. Maintains public relationship and publication, including publishing newsletters and developing promotion materials.
4. Promotes public awareness about psychological well-being, including publishing and blogging related articles on social media.
5. Performs any other necessary duties assigned by the staff psychologists.
Qualification and Requirements:
1. A degree holder (Major in psychology / counselling preferred)
2. Experience in executive work / general administration
3. Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
4. Strong attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
5. Good command of written Chinese and English
6. Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Website Management, and Photoshop
7. Responsible, self-motivated and willing to work under flexible hours
8. Empathic, pleasant and mature
Benefits:
1. Working 5 days per week (Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm; Lunch 1:00pm - 2:00pm)
2. Provide on-job training in the provision of psychological services
3. Appointment will be made on a 1-year contract commencing in August 2026, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
