Registration is required for all mobile food distributions- 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝.

Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭. We strongly encourage arriving early to give yourself the best chance to receive food and to be prepared for lines.

Meet Golden Crescent-MOMS Program Manager Kat Muñoz-Hickl

An advocate for Hispanic families, Kat holds a Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. With 8 years of experience in social services, she has supported diverse groups, including the homeless and survivors of abuse. As the Program Manager for Golden Crescent MOMS under Texas A&M College of Nursing, Kat leads a team of Maternal Child Health Navigators. She is currently serving her fourth year as the Secretary on the Board of Directors for Promise Pointe. Born and raised in Victoria, Kat is a devoted wife and mother of two, passionately empowering her community.

Hi there! We’re Golden Crescent-MOMS, and today we’re excited to introduce our team and share what our program is all about.

GC-MOMS is a free educational home-visiting program supporting pregnant women, postpartum mothers and families in the Golden Crescent area of southeastern Texas. Our team consists of several maternal-child health navigators who are passionate about connecting with moms and meeting them where they are in their journey—whether they’re expecting, adjusting to a newborn or caring for growing children.
