Amazing how something as simple as putting your empty cans & bottles into an Orange 🍊 bin can contribute to your community ❤️

Our Re-turn bin is now located outside the front door of the Community Centre ♻️

Next time you're passing the hall, please drop off your empty bottles and cans, help your local community and help the environment. 🌎 Every Re-turn bottle and can dropped into our bin helps fund the future of our hall. 💚

These bins are for everyone’s benefit – thank you for respecting them. 💙

Collect for a local cause or your own club or community group! Balbriggan Chain of Survival has with the help of re-turn collections installed 20 public accessible defibrillators, carried out ECG research, developed health screenings and improved the statistical chances of reducing avoidable fatalities within our community.

We’ve also sent back 10s of thousands of bottles & cans.

📍 Drop it. Bring your bag to one of our Orange Bin points
🚐 Drive it. Got a van? We need drivers who can carry 2–4 bags to our central storage location
🏠 Host it. Have space to store 1–2 bags until collection? Let us know!

A full bag, a spare hour for collection or a corner of your garage can all make a difference.

What a turnout for Saturday’s AED & CFR demonstration at Clonard Court Green!
From hands-on chest compressions to seeing an AED talk you through a shock step by step, it was brilliant to see so many neighbours, families and passers-by stop, get involved and leave a little more confident that they could help save a life if they ever needed to.

A huge thank you to CRITICAL CFR Balbriggan for delivering the demonstration and sharing their skills and time so generously, the work this Community First Responder network does, answering 999/112 calls across our town before the ambulance arrives, is vital.
Thank you also to everyone who came down, asked questions and had a go on the manikins.

This event was proudly hosted by Balbriggan Chain of Survival, part of our ongoing mission to build an AED network across the town.
