🌾 Welcome, August. Welcome, Lughnasadh. 🌾
As the wheel of the year turns, we arrive at Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO-na-sa), the ancient Celtic festival of the first harvest. Traditionally celebrated on 1st August, it honours the god Lugh and marks the beginning of the harvest season, a time to pause and give thanks for everything we’ve grown, both in the fields and within ourselves.
It’s a beautiful reminder that not every harvest is measured in crops. Sometimes it’s found in healing, resilience, new beginnings, quiet moments of peace, or simply making it through a difficult season.
Take a moment today to reflect…
✨ What seeds have you planted this year?
✨ What are you ready to harvest?
✨ What are you grateful for?
May this month bring abundance, balance, and gentle magic to your path. 🍃
