I think it is time to introduce you to one of my other ventures. Homeopathy has been one of my newer passions - but long before I started doing lots of different crafts. These beeswax candles are one of many things I do in the rare moments I find time these days. Weaving and knitting is another thing I do - but those I will show in time. What is important to me is that I use natural materials - and another passion of mine is that I try to reuse and recycle wherever I can. I try and avoid all plastic in production and packaging. Wether it is anxiety or excitement - going back to school can be a bit of a daunting time both for the children and the parents. Homeopathy offers really good supports for this time - and helps the transition back into a routine. Going back to school can cause a lot of anxiety- there can be nervousness about meeting up with classmates and a reluctance to leave the safe environment of home.
Homeopathy can help with a lot of these anxieties and be supportive in building up confidence and security.

Yesterday evening I was out walking after someone must have cleared a path of overhanging branches. Unfortunately, a small blackthorn branch was left on the path and I promptly stepped onto it - and it went right through the sole of my shoe and my rather thick insoles straight into my foot. It was extremely painful!!!
As blackthorn can cause a lot of problems, I chose Ledum - which is a really good remedy for puncture wounds. It straight away helped with the pain. Later on, when I was able to have a good look at my foot, I noticed that there was a small bit of blackthorn still embedded in my foot - but after taking Silica it did not take long that it worked itself to the surface and I was able to just gently brush it off. Today my foot is fine - with only a tiny bit of tenderness when I press on the actual puncture spot.
Again and again , I am in awe of these wonderful Remedies that we have available - and I make sure that my kit is never far away!!!!

I believe it is hot and sunny in Ireland while I am on my holidays in Germany. Its now been over 30C for a week - and I believe the next few days its going to be climbing up to 39C- just on the day that I will be travelling.
Personally - I am doing my best to stay out of the sun and prefer staying in the shade when it is this hot - but for anyone who has been affected by the heat these remedies really can be of great benefit.

Synchronicity - something that is very dear to me and very much part of my life - yet how often do we miss these little events that happen that actually can point is in the right direction.
I have learnt that in a homeopathic condultation it really is key to look for these little signs and pointers that can point us in the direction of the right remedy.

And another year in my Homeopathy studies completed !!!!What a journey it has been. This last year has really helped to finetune the tools that we were given during our first 4 years of studying. I am so glad I ventured out on this journey as it has given me a whole new outlook on life and given me something I truly enjoy and believe in after I had lost direction and purpose in my life.
