AN INCREDIBLE LADY CALLED GERALDINE DONLON SENT ME THIS POEM THAT SHE WROTE ABOUT ME - WOW!!!
A Voice Beyond Her Years..
A young girl stood with courage bright,
Through fifty hours, by day and night.
Outside Leinster House she made her stand,
With hope held gently in her hand.
She wasn't there for fame or praise,
Or headlines filled for just a day.
She stood for children, one and all,
To answer every family's call.
With strength beyond her tender years,
She faced the doubts, she faced the fears.
Her message echoed loud and clear:
"Every child deserves care here."
Five ministers stopped to hear her plea,
To listen to what should always be.
Though one could not attend that day,
Her voice was heard in every way.
You have shown Ireland what one heart can do,
When kindness, courage and purpose shine through.
You've reminded us that age means little at all,
When you're determined to answer a greater call.
So hold your head up, proud and high,
Keep reaching for your dreams, the sky.
Your bravery has inspired so many today,
And your light will never fade away.
May every step that you have made,
Help build the changes long delayed.
Congratulations, young lady, you've shown us all,
Even the smallest voice can answer the biggest call...🥰
