Therapy does not always look like sitting across from each other in two chairs.

Sometimes it looks like sitting on the floor, playing UNO, getting creative with arts and crafts, having a warm drink, or simply finding the spot in the room that feels most comfortable.

Meeting each client's needs means adapting the space, pace, and approach to suit them. It can also mean offering weekend sessions when weekdays are not accessible or practical.

There is no single way to do therapy. I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where people can be themselves and take part in ways that feel right for them.

Therapy should meet you where you are - not expect you to fit into a box. đŸ€

If you're looking for therapy that meets you where you are, I currently have limited appointments available in person and online.

To enquire or arrange an initial session, send me a DM or message me on WhatsApp through the link in my bio. đŸ€

People have often told me I am "too sensitive," both when I was a child and now as an adult. I really understand what it feels like to be told to stop crying or not to cry at all.

From a young age, many of us learned that crying meant you were weak, dramatic, or too sensitive. Because of this, we got used to hiding our feelings, holding them in, and pretending everything was fine.

But as we grow older, we realise that tears are nothing to fear or feel guilty about. Crying is a natural way to feel, process what happens to us, and begin to heal.

Sometimes therapy helps us reconnect with our true selves. This means noticing how our experiences have shaped us and slowly letting go of the old messages that told us to hide who we really are. đŸ€

I hear this alot & I get it.
Therapy is an investment...& it takes awhile to see results so sometimes it can make it feel pointless.

But often its not really about the price that's holding you back, its about your fear underneath.
When youve been stuck for awhile it can feel safer to stay where you are than to risk change & money.

But heres the thing..
Its not about what therapy costs.
Its about what is it costing you to stay in the same patterns, the same stress and the same self-doubt.

As the saying goes your health is your wealth & that includes your mental health 💚

Read that again.

If you’re still over-explaining, over-giving, staying silent to keep the peace, or chasing people who can’t choose you.
You’re not broken. You’re repeating what once helped you survive, what you know..

But survival patterns aren’t healing patterns.

And this is why healing feels uncomfortable.
Because when you start doing it differently, such as setting boundaries, saying no, asking for more, walking away your body might panic. It feels unfamiliar. It feels risky. It feels wrong
 even when it’s right.

Discomfort doesn’t always mean you’re making a mistake.
Sometimes it means you’re breaking a cycle.

You don’t have to do that alone.

If you feel like it’s your time to begin to heal, reach out. đŸ€

Would you speak to a friend the way you speak to yourself?

If the answer is no, this is your reminder to soften your inner voice. Self-compassion is a skill and it can be learned.

Save this for the days you need the reminder.💛

Therapy is often imagined as just sitting and talking but honestly, there’s so much more that goes into it. It isn’t just the 50 minutes you see in the room.
Behind every session is thoughtful preparation, intention, and care to ensure the space feels safe, supportive, and centred around you.đŸ„°

Therapy can be adapted to your needs, your goals, and where you are in this season of your life. Some days that might look like deep conversation, other days it may involve creative work, reflection, or grounding tools. There is no ‘right’ way to do therapy, only what works best for you & by just showing up speaks volumes too!

If you’ve ever felt unsure about starting therapy, know this: you don’t have to have it all figured out before you walk in. The work happens together, at your pace, with compassion leading the way.

✹ If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out, ask questions, or explore what therapy could look like for you.đŸ€
