Join us tomorrow at 10:30am for our Recovery Walk, starting at the Garden of Remembrance and finishing at Merrion Square, where we'll wrap up with a Family Fun Day! 🎉

What a warm way to kick off Recovery Month — thank you to our inspirational speakers Donna and Jaime and our lovely Realt Nua band supported by the wonderful Barry on the guitar and to everyone who called into our Recovery Café. It was so good to see the room full of conversation, support and community.

💜 Seeking Safety Group – Starting Wednesday 22nd July 💜

Ballyfermot STAR is pleased to offer a Seeking Safety Group, a supportive programme for individuals who have experienced trauma and are working towards recovery from substance use or other harmful coping behaviours.

Seeking Safety is an evidence-based programme that focuses on helping people build safety in their lives, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen their recovery journey.

📅 Starting: Wednesday 22nd July
⏰ Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
📍 Location: Ballyfermot STAR, Drumfinn Park

Topics include:
✨ Setting healthy boundaries
✨ Coping with triggers
✨ Managing emotions
✨ Building self-care practices
✨ Developing healthy relationships
✨ Creating safety and stability in everyday life

This group provides a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where participants can learn practical skills and connect with others on similar journeys.

Are you looking to make positive changes in your relationship with co***ne use?

Ballyfermot STAR is commencing a 12-week Co***ne Recovery Support Group designed to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space for people seeking recovery.

📅 Starting: Wednesday, 22nd July
⏰ Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
📍 Location: Ballyfermot STAR, Drumfinn Park
🗓️ Duration: 12 Weeks

The programme will explore:
✅ Understanding co***ne addiction
✅ Managing cravings and triggers
✅ Building healthy coping strategies
✅ Strengthening motivation for change
✅ Relapse prevention and recovery planning
✅ Peer support and shared experiences

Recovery is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.
