“One of the best I’ve ever met,” according to one client, while a commitment to her community and dedication to care were just two of the reasons Mary Kennedy chose Dundalk’s Emma as the Leinster and National Caregiver of the Year.

These are Dovida’s 2026 Caregivers of the Year! 💥

🏆We’re delighted to introduce the winners of our 2026 Caregiver of the Year Awards, as selected by former RTÉ broadcaster and Dovida Ambassador, Mary Kennedy, who presented the prizes at Dovida's annual Caregiver recognition ceremony.

Over the coming days, we'll be sharing more about each of these special individuals in the words of their colleagues, their clients and Mary herself.

As a Dovida Caregiver, you can branch into specialist areas of home care, such as supporting those with physical and intellectual disabilities.

You’ll be trained by our specialist in-house Dovida Academy, which will ensure you get all the skills you need.
