GOOD TO KNOW:
> Sweating is one of the body's homeostatic mechanisms. In order to avoid over-heating, our bodies produce sweat.
> Skin is our third kidney. If the kidneys are unable to clear toxins, the skin ( sweat glands) assume the job.
What increases sweating?
Coffee intake, junk food, exercise, stress, excitement.
Sweat should be consumed by skin surface bacteria, called skin microbiome. Unfortunately, we kill these allies by using synthetic soaps and other skin products which causes the sweat to not be metabolized, and to smell unpleasent...so what do we do? ..we use more toxic chemicals called a n t i p e r s p i r a n t s
What do they do?
>suppress sweating= impaired thermoregulation
>contain toxic chemicals = increases body toxicity
>contain parabens and aluminum = linked to breast cancer
How to manage sweating?
>Use natural, fragrance free soaps
>Eat clean, organic toxins free food
> Manage stress
>Wear natural fabrick such as linen, organic cotton, wool. silk
>Use probiotic deodorants, such as MotherDirt brand
or make your own.
