What happens to oxygen inside the body during HBOT?

Normally, oxygen is transported mainly by haemoglobin within our red blood cells. Under increased pressure, more oxygen can also dissolve directly into the plasma, increasing the oxygen available within the circulation and tissues.

This does not mean that higher pressure is always better. Oxygen concentration, pressure and treatment time work together as part of the overall dose. Suitability and protocol must be considered individually, so every client begins with nurse-led screening and assessment.

Not all hair loss is the same.

The pattern, timing and wider health context can influence what the appropriate next step should be.

When someone contacts Well Nurse Clinic about thinning or increased shedding, we consider factors such as:

• When the change began
• The pattern of thinning or shedding
• Scalp health
• Recent illness or significant health changes
• Medicines and relevant health history
• Lifestyle and nutritional factors

Sometimes further investigation or referral to a GP, dermatologist or another relevant specialist is more appropriate than immediately starting a procedure.

Our six-month hair restoration programme begins with a nurse-led consultation. It includes monthly clinical appointments, supported home care and ongoing review. The components of the programme are selected according to individual suitability.

This is our hyperbaric chamber.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing concentrated oxygen in a pressurised environment.

What does that actually do? Your cells get access to oxygen saturation they don't normally reach.

Over time, this supports tissue repair, energy rebuilding, and mental resilience.

Your skin doesn't need fillers. It might just need to rebuild.
