Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) | Lower Eyelid Reconstruction

This case demonstrates the surgical treatment and reconstruction of a Basal Cell Carcinoma located beneath the right lower eyelid.

Following the removal of the BCC, the resulting defect was reconstructed using a rotation flap from the right upper cheek, allowing nearby tissue to be carefully repositioned to reconstruct the area✨

⭐️ Ear Trauma Repair ⭐️

This patient presented with multiple earring-related tears to the left ear following traumatic post injuries. Repeated trauma can weaken the earlobe, leading to splits, deformity and discomfort.

At Galway Plastic Surgery, Mr Tayyab Qayyum carried out a careful earlobe repair, restoring the natural shape and symmetry of the ear. These procedures are typically done under local anaesthetic with minimal downtime💫
