Over the last few weeks, I've welcomed quite a few new clients into my Practice, and I've noticed something interesting.
Almost every single one arrives with the same worries.
"My feet aren't very nice."
"You won't want to touch them."
"I'm really ticklish."
"I never relax... not even during a massage."
And every time, I smile and reassure them that they're not the first person to say it, and they certainly won't be the last.
✨Then something wonderful happens.✨
An hour later, they're slowly opening their eyes and saying things like:
"I can't believe how relaxed I was."
"Was that really an hour?"
"I fell asleep... did I snore?!"
"What magic did you just do? I felt you working on the first foot, but not the second!"
"I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
"My feet feel like they're floating."
The truth is, there is absolutely no reason to feel embarrassed or ashamed of your feet.
To me, every foot is beautiful.
Every foot tells a story.
Every callus, ache, tension point and sensitive area gives me a little insight into what your body has been carrying.
Many people come for a specific reason. It may be stress, hormones, sleep, fertility, menopause, digestive concerns, anxiety, or simply because life feels overwhelming.
Yet what I hear most often is that they leave feeling balanced as a whole person.
Body. Mind. Soul.
In a world where the wellness industry can sometimes lose sight of true wellness, Reflexology remains one of the gentlest and most natural therapies available. It's not a passing trend or another quick fix. It has been practiced for generations and is widely recommended by doctors, midwives and healthcare professionals as a safe complementary therapy, including for oncology patients around the world.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your wellbeing is simply give yourself permission to stop, rest, and receive.
So if you've been thinking about trying Reflexology but are worried about your feet, worried you'll be too ticklish, or convinced you'll never relax...
Trust me.
I've heard it all before.
And chances are, you'll be the next person waking up and asking - "Was that really an hour?"
"If you've been curious about Reflexology, I'd love to welcome you into my practice and help you experience the difference for yourself. Message me to book or learn more."
