We are delighted to announce that collections will be taking place this weekend in the following churches in aid of North Kilkenny CFR Group:

Your generous support will help us maintain, replace and provide AEDs throughout our local communities, helping to ensure these lifesaving devices remain available when they are needed most.

National Services Day 2026 – Kilkenny Castle 🏰

What a fantastic day for the North Kilkenny CFR Group at National Services Day 2026 in Kilkenny! 💙

It was great to be part of such a brilliant event at Kilkenny Castle, alongside so many organisations showcasing their vehicles, equipment and abilities, while giving the public an insight into the incredible work they do in our communities. 👏

North Kilkenny CFR Group is looking for new volunteers to join our team!

Since January 2026, 87% of our call-outs have been responded to by our team — but our goal is to reach 100%. To make this happen, we need more members of our local communities to step forward and help us be there when people need us most.

Whether you’re from Johnstown, Crosspatrick, Galmoy, Gathabawn, Urlingford, Graine or Freshford, you can make a real difference. Anyone can save a life. 🫶

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our recent fundraiser for North Kilkenny CFR Group!!

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown by our community. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over €600, which will be invested directly back into the community through the work of North Kilkenny CFR Group.

A special thank you to The Crosspatrick Pub for their wonderful hospitality and for hosting the event. We would also like to thank Pio Luby for providing the fantastic music and entertainment on the night.

We are very grateful to all the local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes. Your support helped make the event such a success.

Community support like this makes a real difference and helps us continue providing our service to the people of North Kilkenny.

Thank you all once again for your kindness, generosity, and support.

🎶Bank Holiday Sunday Fundraiser Night! 🎶

Join us on Sunday, May 31st for a fantastic night in The Crosspatrick in aid of the North Kilkenny CFR Group!

Doors open from 8pm with just €5 entry, and we’ll have live music from Pio Luby from 9pm 🎵 plus plenty of raffle prizes on the night — 3 strips for €5!

This is a great way to spend the Bank Holiday Sunday, enjoy some music, have the craic, and support an incredible local cause.

A huge thank you to everyone for your continued support — we really appreciate it and hope to see as many people there as possible for a great night out! 🙌

🌟 Split the Pot – Urlingford Week 2 🌟

We are delighted to announce that North Kilkenny CFR Group has been selected as recipients of Split the Pot Urlingford 💛

The funding will go directly towards replacing the defibrillator cabinet at the chemist which was recently damaged, as well as purchasing a new defibrillator for the unit that unfortunately malfunctioned. Both will be fully installed and back in place within the next fortnight.

In addition, a brand new cabinet will soon be installed at Ely’s to safely house the defibrillator there, replacing the old and slightly dilapidated box.
