Supporting Others Without Losing Yourself

Earlier this summer, I delivered this workshop to a group of guidance counsellors, exploring what happens when supporting others starts to become carrying them.

It got me thinking about how relevant this is far beyond the workplace whether you're a parent, carer, therapist, teacher, manager, or simply someone people tend to rely on.

So, I'm bringing the workshop to Letterkenny this September.

Do you think as women we abandon ourselves too easily? That we’re conditioned as girls to put others needs before our own? I love what .mindypelz says on this…let me know what you think 🤔⬇️

Hurrah for Networking ✨👯‍♀️👏🏻

Yesterday I spent the most enjoyable evening at the Donegal Women In Business summer event, hosted at the beautiful Castle Grove Country House Hotel

Coming together with other female business owners to hear words of wisdom is always so special & the chats are well needed, especially when I work so much on my own! Niamh Hughes Mary Bradley.

Karen Dwyer | The MS Coach spoke passionately and told such a thought provoking story, but also gave us the chance to really think about our own blocks.

Special congratulations to the DWIBN committee who always put on a professional & welcoming event, and last but not least to my clever, charismatic & engaging sister Sally Murphy who leads the network with humility & humour.

Can’t wait to attend more DWIBN events in September. If you’re a woman in Donegal interested in business, you need to join the supportive network!!

As a therapist, it’s so important that I take time for CPD (continuous professional development), not just to keep developing my skills, but to make sure I’m also taking care of myself and doing my own internal therapeutic work.

I’ve just come back from the most powerful residential training with Brendan and Eileen from Family Constellations Ireland.

It’s hard to fully put into words how impactful it can be to sit in a room with others, allowing real feelings and vulnerabilities to surface and be explored. Brendan and Eileen hold the work of Family Constellations in such a safe and unique way. They also do powerful work if you’ve been impacted by su***de and it’s well worth checking out their workshops and trainings.

I feel incredibly grateful to have had a few peaceful days away at their training (and from busy family life) and I’m coming back feeling grounded, reflective, and all the better for it!

Do you ever feel like you’re trying to hold everything together, and still being hard on yourself for how you’re coping?...

Do you ever feel like you’re trying to hold everything together, and still being hard on yourself for how you’re coping? 🤯

Juggle to Joy is now open.

This is a small group space for mums who feel overwhelmed, reactive, or not quite like themselves, and want to understand what’s going on underneath that.

It’s not about doing more or trying harder.

It’s about understanding your patterns and learning how to meet yourself with a bit more awareness and compassion.

We begin Tuesday 5th May.

Spaces are limited as the group is small & intimate.

This feedback from Angela is EVERYTHING 🫶🏻👯‍♀️🙏🏻 We 100% are superhuman as mothers…🦹

This amazing lady took my Juggle to Joy programme earlier this year, and speaks powerfully here about the strong common bonds that connected mothers through the programme 👭👭

Hearing her describe how she was able to cultivate more self compassion is what this is all about for me!! ❤️🫶🏻

If you need some of this type of transformation in your own life, there’s only a few days left to register for my FREE ONLINE SESSION - Why Good Mums Snap 🔥🤯
