Hi, I'm Weronika Bala, a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT) with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy from SETU Carlow.
Sport has always been a huge part of my life. From playing camogie, rugby during college, dancing for 8 years, and taking part in anything active, I have always had a passion for movement and understanding how the body works.
This passion led me to pursue a career in Athletic Therapy, where I developed the knowledge and skills to assess, treat and rehabilitate a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. My goal is to help athletes and individuals of all activity levels recover from injury, improve their movement, and return to doing what they love.
Throughout my degree, I had the opportunity to gain experience working with athletes through placements with Cork City FC Men's First Team, and I currently work with Cork City FC Girls Academy.
At BALA Athletic Therapy and Injury Clinic, I provide evidence-based care tailored to each individual, including:
β’ Injury assessment
β’ Injury prevention β’ Dry needling
β’ Injury management & rehabilitation
β’ Return to sport support
Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing ongoing pain, or looking to improve your performance, I'm here to help you move with confidence.
