A couple of weeks ago, we had a free evening so we went to watch the sunset.

As I looked around, I noticed families, couples, friends, dog walkers, children playing and people sitting quietly on their own.

Some were chatting.
Some were silent.
Some were taking photos.
Some were simply taking it all in.

For a little while, complete strangers shared the same moment. Together, yet separately.

It reminded me that some of life's greatest gifts don't cost a thing. It warmed my heart to see people appreciating the simple magic of it all.

The warmth of the sun on your face.
The sound of the waves.
The colours in the sky.
A moment to pause.
A deep breath.
A reminder that there's still so much beauty to notice.

In a world that constantly encourages us to want more, maybe sometimes we just need to notice more.

So wear your favourite clothes.
Light the good candle.
Use the nice plate.
Eat the cake.
Tell your people you love them.
Watch the sunset.

Life isn't waiting to begin...
It's happening right now. ❤️

What's one simple thing that brings you joy for free? I'd love to hear. 🌅

🤔 Feeling overwhelmed lately?

Stress isn't often caused by one big thing.

It's the emails.
The mental load.
The constant notifications.
The rushing.
The worrying.
The never-ending to-do list.

When our nervous system spends too much time in "survival mode", even small things can start to feel like too much.

That's why I created this FREE Calm Toolkit.

Inside you'll find a collection of simple grounding techniques, breathing exercises and mindful reminders that you can save to your phone or print out, so they're there whenever you need a little reset.

No special equipment.
No experience needed.
Just practical tools to help you pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself.

💚 Just comment CALM and I'll send your free toolkit as soon as I can. (If you've commented and haven't received it within a few hours, check your Message Requests or send me a DM.)

And if you know someone who's carrying a lot right now, share this post with them too. Sometimes a small act of kindness can make a big difference.

With love & the warmest of wishes,
Sarah ✨️

Wellbeing isn't built on perfect meals or complicated routines. More often, it's the small habits we repeat consistently.

For me, one of those habits is a green smoothie most mornings. It's one of the ways I love and honour my body, by making sure I get off to a good start with some great nutrition. I'm not big on breakfast so this makes it easy for me, I prep it the night before and just whizz it together in the morning!

My usual concoction is;
🥬 2 frozen blocks of spinach
🥕 A handful of frozen carrots (about one large carrot)
🥦 A couple of broccoli florets
🫐 A handful of frozen berries, cherries, pineapple and mango
💧 Water
💪 A scoop of whey or clear protein

It isn't about "detoxing" or chasing the latest wellness trend (I've been doing this on & off for over 10 years). It's simply an easy way to nourish my body before the day gets busy.

This one smoothie provides around 25g of complete protein, plenty of fibre to support gut health and satiety, and an incredible variety of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. It keeps me full until lunch and, if you're counting, comes in at around 300 calories.

The spinach, broccoli and carrots are rich in vitamins A, C and K, folate and magnesium. The berries and cherries contribute powerful antioxidants, while the colourful fruit provides vitamin C and naturally occurring plant compounds that help protect our cells from everyday oxidative stress. I should probably introduce some flaxseed or avocado for a bit of fat to help absorb the fat soluble vitamins (A & K in this case) but nobody's perfect! 😉

I also love knowing I've ticked off several portions of vegetables and fruit before I've even left the house.

Nutrition doesn't have to be complicated. Often, the biggest wins come from finding simple habits that are realistic, enjoyable and easy to repeat.

Small choices, repeated consistently, can have a meaningful impact on long-term health and wellbeing. 🌿
