ChapterYou.ie Guided mental health journals. €2 from each one sold goes directly to .aid

22/02/2026

You may have tried journalling before and not stuck to it. Maybe it felt empty and pointless. Perhaps it focused too much on a performance and productivity, rather than depth over dopamine.

Maybe its time to turn the page and try a different method?
180 days. 180 prompts. 180 chances to learn and grow.

Better still, each journal sold helps another woman too, with €2 going directly to .aid 💜

We don't do blank journals.

Over the past decade, and hundreds of clients, I rarely come across someone who journals consistently every night. Most forget after a busy day. They don't know what to write. They feel cringe (to who??).

So here's a guided journey. 180 prompts to gently tease out information that perhaps has been consciously trapped inside, or you weren't even aware existed.

You start from where you are now. Acknowledge how you think, feel and behave.
Then you glance back to understand why you might be at this point in the first place.
Moving forward into a life of alignment, you'll figure out what fits currently and what doesn't. Before moving onto what needs to be done to live a life true to your values.

Are you ready to turn the page? This next chapter is all about YOU

A dental clean and check up... not exactly one of the first things that springs to mind when you think self-care.

This is your friendly reminder to book in for those routine maintenance appointments that we always seem to put on the long finger 🤎

If you're in the cork city area, I highly recommend . Its like going in for a chat with friends, even when they're giving you potentially bad news about a wisdom tooth 🫠

Healing isn't a productivity project.

If "wellness" feels exhausting, you're not broken. You're over-performing. This is your sign to do less and be more.

You don't need to perform anymore.
Healing id slower, quieter, and more honest than Instagram makes it look 🤎

The way she says "psycho...therapist" 🫣😆

So we're starting off nice and easy. Something relatively free/cheap to do.

Reading is a great escape from life when you need it, and a fantastic replacement for evening doom scrolling.

I'll admit I stopped reading for years after I graduated. When you're forced to read and research for assignment after assignment, it can take the joy away. Granted they were heavier more academic style books, but it still felt like a chore.

I see the irony of my first book of the year being a book about a work topic 🙈 for multiple reasons, this book is gripping..... IYKYK 👀

One of my favourite sayings in my therapy room.
Explanations are not excuses.

Do not excuse sh*tty behaviour just because you can maybe explain it:

- "they had a terrible start to life"
- "she's from a different generation that isn't as open to these things"
- "she only mentions my weight because she's obsessed with her own"
- "he had a bad experience with an ex, he's just being a bit overly protective now with me"
- "her mother was even worse than she is towards me"

Don't justify people's behaviour and excuse it just because you think you can explain it. It's amazing that you have that awareness and empathy. But, here you are choosing not to repeat the cycle, choosing not to push "your stuff" onto others.... Don't they have that same choice too?

Explanations are not excuses 🤎

New Year ≠ New You

You don’t fixing, you're not broken.
Less becoming. More alignment. More authenticity. More space to heal.

New year. True You.

5 minutes a day for 180 days. Simply write from the heart. No judgement. No expectations. Just honesty 🤎

🤎 Just a friendly reminder again this year 🤎
