I had the privilege of presenting a lecture at the Israeli Ophthalmological Society Annual Meeting 2026 in Tel Aviv.
My talk focused on the surgical repair of ptosis (droopy eyelid), and I was truly honored to receive the award for Best Lecture in the Oculoplastics Session.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share knowledge, learn from outstanding presentations, and reconnect with colleagues and friends from across the country.
Grateful for the recognition and looking forward to continuing to advance the field of oculoplastic surgery.

I recently had the privilege of volunteering with Operation Ethiopia during an oculoplastic surgical campaign in Debre Birhan and Addis Ababa. It was an incredible and deeply moving experience, especially as it was my first time visiting displaced communities. Seeing innocent children living in extreme poverty, without access to education, stable housing, or even the simple joys of childhood, was truly overwhelming. Their resilience and warmth left a lasting impression on me. I am sincerely grateful to Eliza and Prof. Hartstein for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to join this remarkable mission and help make a difference in the lives of so many patients.
