*“2nd National Lok Adalat held at District Anantnag”*
Under the insightful directions of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Palli The Chief Justice of High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Patron in Chief JKLSA and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Executive Chairman, J&K Legal Services Authority, 2nd National Lok Adalat was organized today on 09th May, 2026 in District Court Complex Anantnag and Taluka Courts of District Anantnag. The National Lok Adalat was inaugurated by Mr. Tahir Khurshid Rainna Principal District & Sessions Judge (Chairman District Legal Services Authority) Anantnag, at District Court Complex Anantnag at 10:00 A.M. Each Court had identified cases for Lok Adalat beforehand and same were placed before Ten (10) different benches constituted by DLSA Anantnag for their settlement in National Lok Adalat.
Bench No. 1, comprised of Mr. Tahir Khurshid Raina (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge Anantnag) and Adv. Mohammad Amin Parray.
Bench No. 2 Comprised of Ms. Masarat Roohi (Additional District & Sessions Judge Anantnag) and Mr. Zakir Hussain Lone (Chief LADC DLSA Anantnag).
Bench No. 3 comprised of Mr. Sajad Ur Rehman (Chief Judicial Magistrate Anantnag) and Mr. Aleem Syed (Assistant LADC).Bench No. 4 comprised of Mr. Sayeem Qayoom (Secretary DLSA Anantnag) and Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat (Deputy LADC), Bench No. 5 comprised of Mr. Ahtzaz Ahmad (Principal Magistrate JJB Anantnag) Bench No. 6 comprised of Mr. Rajeev Kumar Tedyal (Sub Judge Bijbehara) and Advocate Mr. Sarjan Ahmad Sofi, Bench No. 7 comprised of Mr. Altaf Ahmad Mir (Sub Judge Vailoo) and Advocate Mr. Nazir Ahmad Paddar Bench No. 8 comprised of Mr. Faza ul Haq (Munsiff Shangus) and Advocate Mr. Showkat Ahmad Rather, Bench No. 9 comprised of Mr. Shyam Kumar (Munsiff Aishmuqam) and Advocate Mr. Mehraj-ud-din Beig, Bench No. 10 Comprised of Ms. Aarizoo Javid Rather (Munsiff Dooru) and Advocate Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Wani.
Nonetheless, a total number of 850 matters were taken up for their amicable settlement, out of which 574 matters were settled. Besides, an amount of Rs.1,03,65,392/- was realized in total in the settlement.
