Milia are tiny keratin-filled cysts that sit just beneath the skin and are often mistaken for whiteheads.

They may appear spontaneously or develop after skin irritation, trauma, skin barrier disruption , heavy occlusive skincare or makeup.

To help prevent them:
• Avoid overly heavy skincare if you’re prone to milia
• Avoid over exfoliation
• Wear sunscreen regularly
• Never squeeze or extract them at home

A quick & effective way to get rid of milia is professional in-office extraction by a dermatologist.
Other treatment options include cryotherapy, cauterisation, topical retinoids or gentle exfoliating treatments.

Persistent / recurrent milia need dermatological evaluation.

Not sure if those tiny bumps are milia? Get them checked before treating them at home. Book a consultation with us at .

A simple skincare routine for teenagers with acne:

✔️ Morning

Gentle cleanser
Lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer
Broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher)

✔️ Night

Gentle cleanser
A dermatologist-recommended targeted acne treatment like adapalene or salicylic acid (if needed)
Moisturizer

A few things to avoid:
✖️ Picking pimples
✖️ Harsh scrubs
✖️ DIY hacks that can irritate your skin

If your acne is painful, leaving marks, or not improving after a few months, don’t wait. A dermatologist can help identify the type of acne you have and create a treatment plan that’s right for your skin. Starting treatment early can make a huge difference in preventing long-term acne scars.

Honestly, yes... with realistic expectations. 👇

Haldi contains curcumin, a naturally occurring compound that has well-studied anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. That’s one of the reasons turmeric has been used in skincare for generations.

That said, if you’re hoping a simple haldi paste will erase pigmentation, acne marks, or completely transform your skin overnight, you’ll probably be disappointed.

Use it as a feel-good skincare ritual if it suits you, not as your only treatment.

And if your skin concern needs more than what your kitchen can offer, there are safe, evidence-based in-clinic treatments that can make a real difference. ✨

Is fungal infection possible on the scalp? 🤔

Yes, it is.

An itchy, flaky scalp is often assumed to be dandruff, but that’s not always the case. During the monsoon 🌧️, increased humidity creates the perfect environment for fungal infections to develop 🦠. Since the symptoms can look very similar, it’s easy to mistake one for the other.

If your scalp itching persists despite using anti-dandruff shampoos, don’t keep guessing. Get it evaluated by a dermatologist for the right diagnosis. 👩‍⚕️
