New Editorial Leadership | Editorial Assistant Applications Open

The World Headache Society is pleased to announce Dr Mark Weatherall as Editor-in-Chief of Headache Medicine Connections, the Society’s journal.

We invite applications for an Editorial Assistant, a voluntary, unpaid position, working with the editorial and publication team.

Responsibilities include:

* Coordinating submissions and tracking manuscript progress
* Communicating with authors, reviewers and editors
* Following up on reviews, revisions and publication deadlines
* Supporting proof coordination and journal updates

We welcome applicants with a background in medicine, neuroscience, life sciences or academic publishing. Strong written English, attention to detail and reliable organisational skills are essential. Familiarity with journal submission systems would be an advantage.

The role offers practical experience in scientific publishing and the opportunity to contribute to the journal’s development under Dr Weatherall’s editorial leadership.
