Autism is a genetic condition and is not caused by any extraneous forces as is being aggressively promoted in many recent video clips circulating around. It is a shame that these people have been spinning a yarn, creating their own theories as to the cause for autism.
All the factors that they are mentioning glibly have been extensively studied in the west and the conclusion is that ‘none of these factors play any role in the Genesis of autism’.
I have seen a few shocking video clips with the presenter liberally using medical jargon to pass on false information to the public- in an attempt to attract patients to their so-called Institutes. They even claim cure of the problem’ Some of the narratives are so compelling that it is likely that many people on the street are likely to fall prey to their quackery.
I am surprised that none of the responsibile governmental or medical bodies have yet taken any action against these individuals who have no scientific background, claiming to be some form of coaches or mentors to parents of children with autism!!
This is indeed sad and equally alarming that such falsehood is permitted to spread like virus in the community and several years of research are thrown aside in favour of abject nonsense churned out by them. One is reminded of the ‘MMR vaccine - autism’ linkage story propagated by Dr Wakefield who was finally exposed and prevented from practising medicine anywhere in the world, due to the false information it carried. Such rapid stringent actions are taken abroad and it seems like there’s no mechanism to stop the viral spread of ‘infodemics’ these rogues spread around. At the same time I can only commend all those sensible creators who have actively taken it up as a mission to end this spread of poison in the community forever by use of the same social media!
