Some dreams survive because someone chooses to stand beside them. ❤️

Today, on World Humanitarian Day, Deestha Foundation launches SAHAYYAM — Each One, Reach One.

And we begin with Muskan Kumari.

Muskan comes from a small rural village near Ranchi, Jharkhand. Growing up amidst poverty, loss, gender discrimination and limited opportunities, she was often told—directly and indirectly—that certain dreams were simply not meant for girls like her.

But she kept going.

She played football despite resistance.
She continued her education despite financial hardship.
She became a football coach and used her earnings to support her education and family.
She eventually earned a full scholarship to pursue BA (Hons.) Psychology at Vidyashilp University, Bengaluru.

Today, Muskan dreams of becoming a Sport Psychologist.

When she was looking for an internship, she found that most opportunities available to her were paid. For someone who had already fought so hard to reach this point, that financial barrier could have meant one more closed door.

So, through Sahayyam, Deestha Foundation chose to open one.

We took the onus of providing Muskan with a free one-month psychology internship, giving her practical exposure to mental health work and an opportunity to learn, grow and move one step closer to becoming the professional she dreams of becoming.

Because sometimes, helping someone doesn't mean giving them money.

Sometimes it means giving them access.
Sometimes it means giving them time.
Sometimes it means sharing your knowledge, skills, resources or connections.
And sometimes, it simply means saying:

“I believe you can.”

This is what Sahayyam is about.

A long-term movement where each of us can become someone's support—emotionally, mentally, financially, professionally, or simply by being there.

Muskan is our first story.
We hope she won't be the last.

If you have helped someone in any way, we would love to hear your story. You may choose to feature yourself or remain anonymous. Share your story with us along with photographs/videos, and let your act of kindness inspire someone else.

One person. One act. One ripple. ❤️

No blood. No weapon. No fingerprints.

Yet someone was slowly being murdered… right in front of everyone.

The question is not just who did it?
It’s what if the victim was never who you thought?

🎙️ The Perfect Murder — now on Manogatha.

If a fruit can find its way to you from miles away… maybe you don’t have to chase everything. 🍎

There’s a reason I call this the Fruit Theory.

Grief has no timeline, and healing has no deadline. 🤍
Let’s listen with compassion, hold space without judgment, and remind those who are grieving that they don’t have to walk through it alone. 🕊️
