Top 10 Principles for Understanding Artificial Intelligence in Psychology — developed collaboratively by the Global Psychology Alliance (GPA), with contributions from the American Psychological Association (APA) and leading experts across the globe.
This work represents a powerful collective effort of psychologists worldwide to shape how Artificial Intelligence is ethically, responsibly, and effectively integrated into psychological practice.
The framework highlights key priorities for the profession:
▪️ Ethics, transparency, and accountability
▪️ Professional competence and human oversight
▪️ Bias mitigation, inclusion, and equitable access
▪️ Psychological safety and evidence-based practice
Being part of this international collaboration is a matter of great pride for CCI. It reinforces our commitment to advancing counselling and psychological practices that uphold human dignity, promote mental well-being, and ensure fairness across diverse populations.
