World Female Or**sm Day has been observed every year on August 8th since 2007.
Many people might not even be aware of this.
If you wonder why such a day is celebrated for women and why there isn't a similar day for men, the answer is closely aligned with why we celebrate Independence Day on August 15th.
Across the globe—regardless of religion, race, language, or nation—a woman is still predominantly treated as the second s*x.
Men and women differ both physically and emotionally. A woman does not get aroused by a man's physical attributes in the exact same way or speed that a man gets aroused upon seeing a woman's body and beauty. To awaken her desires, one must reach beyond the surface and connect with her mind.
Yet, in today's fast-paced rush, where does the modern man find time for this? He rushes into a dark room with his wife, engages hurriedly, and once his own desire is satisfied, he falls fast asleep.
Regardless of how many hours or how many years you engage with her, her complete fulfillment depends entirely on how much you truly value her happiness.
For generations, a vast majority of women have lived their entire lives without ever knowing what an or**sm actually feels like.
The movie Parched vividly illustrates this s*xual ignorance among women. A survey published in a magazine highlighted that 70% of Indian women do not know what an or**sm is. That is not a small number—70% of women!
Yet, if a woman writes about s*x, people immediately demean her, assume she is available for anything, or invite her to bed. To avoid this harassment, many women feel forced to pretend to be completely ignorant.
If men who turn away the moment their own needs are met form one category, another consists of those who succumb to harmful habits, lose their stamina, and then try to break a woman's spirit to keep her subservient.
Then comes an even more dangerous, selfish category of men. Today, women work alongside men to support the household financially. Yet, after carrying the entire weight of domestic chores and children's education, when a woman falls asleep in the middle of the night completely exhausted, her husband still expects s*xual intimacy.
Exhausted by work, she feels no desire at all; she merely lies there waiting for him to finish and get off her. To put it bluntly, it becomes just another household chore for her, no different than cleaning the toilet. Ironically, she grew up in a different home, married into yours, and still ends up having to clean that toilet because the "lords of the house" won't do it. Well, that's a different topic for another day.
This also applies to women living in joint families. You might ask, "Why can't she just ask him to step back and tell him she's tired?" She hesitates to say it out of fear that he might seek another woman if she refuses.
Beyond all this, there is another mindset: men who marry a survivor of s*xual assault under the assumption that she won't have any s*xual desire and won't need intimacy. More than anyone else, such a woman needs a partner who can rebuild her faith and show her that intimacy can be a sacred, reassuring experience. Instead, some men run away from a survivor, thinking, "Why should I be with someone another man has already violated?" As if she were a disposable object that can no longer be used
Some even ask absurd questions like, "Can a woman achieve or**sm during r**e?" My counter-question to them is: If someone forcibly shoves a nightstick up your rear, would it feel refreshing to you?
Look at the world: most men fail to realize that the person in front of them is a human being, not a machine. Simply because they fell in love or got married, they claim ownership, treating her as a possession or property. Why is it so hard for so many to understand that she is a living, breathing human being with feelings?
When lust takes over, some monsters don't even spare toddlers, dogs, cats, animals, men, women, or the elderly—any opening seems enough for them. Such rapists deserve to have a scalding silencer pipe shoved into them as punishment.
Instead of imposing society's moral yardsticks onto a woman's body, letting her live naturally with an understanding of her true needs will bring her genuine happiness.
Otherwise, no matter how long your performance lasts, if you fail to touch her heart, you will never bring her to an or**sm.
Stop turning off the lights to fumble around in the dark; look into her eyes and make sure your partner is genuinely happy because of you. Stop keeping track of the clock.
